 Store Fashion Consultant - Montreal:

Silk Laundry is now hiring an in-store fashion consultant for the Montreal boutique.

You will help clientele through their shopping process as they browse visually, as well as touch and feel the collection. You will assist with size, fit, colour and style options as they try on the garments. You will educate on the exceptional silk fabric properties and how to best care for the items they wish to purchase. You will process checkouts for clients and graciously pack our luxurious items into shopping bags. 

You will help keep floor merchandise up to date through stock takes, as well as through visual merchandising. You will be responsible for the general tidiness of the store. 

You will process and pack online orders, requiring attention to detail, minimizing customer dissatisfaction and returns.

The ideal candidate will exemplify the brand’s strong values and be in line with all our channels, enhancing the experience and vision we wish our customers to have. We create our garments to last a lifetime and hope to build long-term relationships with our clients as well. 

The position is part-time.

Pattern maker & Seamstress - Montreal:

We are looking for an experienced pattern maker and seamstress to join the Silk Laundry team in Montreal.

You will assist the Creative Director with pattern production, establishing and maintaining accurate specifications and working in-house to produce high-quality samples.

The ideal candidate will possess a degree in pattern making, has a minimum of three years sewing experience, a keen eye for detail, advanced knowledge of garment construction and maintains a high standard of accuracy.

The position is part-time.
