SILK SCRUNCHIE MONARCH NIGHT SKY
An ode to the monarch butterfly, this exclusive piece is part of a capsule collection centered around the monarch butterfly and its declining population. Every Winter, monarch butterflies fly from Canada to Mexico for a three month hibernation. Their 2,500 mile journey can be arduous, and is hindered by the destruction of their habitat. In the 1980s there were approximately 4.5 million monarch butterflies, now it's estimated between 20,000 and 27,000 remain. The monarch butterfly is now considered endangered.
The limited edition print, inspired by the beloved pollinator, is featured on four Silk Laundry pieces: the 90s Silk Slip Dress, the Camp Shirt, the Boxer Shorts and Scrunchies. All pieces have been hand illustrated by Laura Prochowski and designed between Montreal and Australia by Katie Kolodinski and Nadia Bunyan.

SHIPPING
We deliver to Canada with free express shipping on orders over 350 CAD.Â
Orders are dispatched from our Montreal warehouse on business days and does not operate on weekends or public holidays. Once orders are processed and dispatched, allow 1-2 business days for express delivery, 3-9 business days for standard delivery.
A signature will be required upon delivery.Â

We accept returns - but we ask that you consider your purchase.
If you receive an item that’s not quite right we can assist you with finding the right solution. As a business that is making considered decisions every day to be more accountable we encourage you to do the same. Frivolous purchasing with an intention to return is a habit we do not support, please remember that the process of returning carries an environmental cost to our planet.
We accept returns within 30 days from the date of order.Â
To be eligible for a return, item(s) must meet the conditions of our returns policy available here.
Please note that you will be required to ship the item(s) to Montreal, Canada and you will be required to pay for your own shipping costs if you decide to return your order. Shipping costs are non-refundable and Silk Laundry does not cover the cost of return shipping.
